Escape

Ava, a 22-year-old girl, is the protagonist of the story. She tells her story with a flashback when she is in a household with an abusive father, and a crazy mother in Houston. However, after her father gets into an accident and injures his leg, he insists that she purchase him some alcoholic beverage because he is unable to walk. Ava takes advantage of the situation and is able to flee her dreadful life.
