"The Ceens are extinct..."

That's what everyone was told. That the most precious living treasures no longer existed. That the last remaining fragments of them had died when the Hunters attacked their neighborhood.

But how was everyone else to know that before they found the neighborhood burned to the ground, someone had already been there? Someone who had found the last two Ceens to exist and taken them to safety? Someone unaware of her history and their history?

But the incident that occurs thirteen years later pulls this secret out of the shadows and delivers the word to what remains of the supernatural world.
