20-year-old Sage Morozan works for the wealthy sophisticated Esposito mafia family after being saved from the rival Cappilino mafia Family. He survives with his 13-year-old little sister Skylar by doing whatever illegal thing he's told to do, not ever disobeying what he's told in order to keep him and Skylar safe until he gets given a partner, Liliana Esposito, niece of the Esposito Leader. Not wanting to have a partner to work with, Sage does everything in his power to get rid of Liliana until he gets into trouble himself trying to prove Liliana wrong. Eventually admitting that he wants to work with her, their partnership grows but his poor decision making has hurt more people than he realized.

"Stay away from me, I don't know need you, I don't need anyone to help me!" I spat in her face, if this doesn't drive her away I don't know what will.

"Then why do you keep coming back to me, if you don't need me then just leave Sage. You don't need me fine then I don't need you." Her hand made contact with my cheek leaving a sting.
