It was a cold case that the Police couldn't, or rather wouldn't search for the truth, concerning a 2 year old Edith May Jones.
15 years ago, Samuel Jones, a young father, is accused of kidnapping his own daughter by his ex-girlfriend, Melissa Roberts, who had given full custody of her child.
Without a trial, he was convicted and sent to prison under highly suspicious circumstances. Once out, Samuel and his mother, Rachael, wanting justice as well as answers, visit the office of P.I. COLD CASE'S and hire their help to not only find the truth of what happened fifteen years earlier, but also the murder of Detective Greene, who was investigating their case.
However, after the team hacked into the database of the FBI, the BAU Behavioral Analysis Unit. Which is a special Unit of Profilers who delve into the minds of UnSubs, as they call them, gets involved in the case that has corruption written all over it.

They prepared for how they were going to tell Isabel Ashe that she was wanted by the FBI for reasons they didn't know. What they didn't prepare for was finding the girl riddled with psychosis, among other things. Yet, they decide to take a chance with her when they see she has amazing control over her psychosis.
