This story is written from the perspective of Giana, a college student from Houston that moved away from her hometown in search of her "thing" but was met with something more. The trials of her life are outlined with poetry as she navigates her feelings and most inner thoughts. Let's see what happens when love at first write gets involved.

For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it. She believed she had failed in everything she ever tried-whether it was friendship, being the perfect student, the ideal daughter, or winning the love of her crush. At just an 11th grader, she was already earning for her family by teaching younger kids. Balancing studies, responsibilities, and her own silent battles wasn't easy, yet she kept fighting. The accusation cracked something inside her. The tears she had been fighting burned hot as they spilled down, betraying the strength she tried so hard to hold.
