Izzy has had her fair share of falls in her life, yet everything is starting to set sail smoothly, she’s starting to adjust to life without her parents and school and her friendship life is going great. That is until her friend’s, Nat, party. It seems things progress from worse to worse. From a victim to a suspect and than a victim again Izzy is finding it impossible to deal on this yo-yo ride combined with the constant harassment and eye ogling at school in relation to the crimes she can’t seem to catch a break. Then there is Luke, the guy who swept her off her feet, the guy that seems to tick a lot of boxes, yet is the main one for the mess she is in. Though no matter how much Luke hurts and scars Izzy she cannot seem to pull away fully. And she begins to wonder if it is worth it, how can your white knight inflict the pain when they are supposed to shield you from it? As Izzy’s life becomes more and more chaotic and painful as she copes with the loss and blame she begins to hunt for clues herself to save her and others from furthermore cases. Yet it seems the one thing Izzy needs the most, is something she can never have.
