SYNOPSIS:
He is a doctor (Julio Miguel Costa), who is persistent and passionate about his job. He also loves to teach illiterate and orphan children from the church where his family are devoted to their religion. There he met a playful and lustful soldier (Gabriel Luis Fuentes) that is a respected colonel who dreamed of being one of the most recognized Generals of Manila.
Miguel is somehow connected to one of the Datu and Lakan's bloodline in history, his best friend (Jaime Locsin, a half noble/half sangley). An aristocrat who's against the Spanish government's will to tame their nobility and associate their mother land that has been their own since the very beginning.
Will he defend his own perceptions and principles against to the hypocrisy of Spaniards? Nor will he be caught falling for someone who's renowned loyal to the foreign invaders that dedicates its oath and virtues.
