The extended title of this little story is "The Tall Man's Twisted Forest (or A Brief Homage to the Slender Man Following His Death Due to Complications from Co-Starring in the 2018 Sony Pictures Movie of the Same Name)." It is a small, self-contained horror story featuring a college freshman's unfortunate encounter with the titular monster. It's actually an extended, revamped prologue from a book I never finished because who gave a shit about Slender Man after 2013? Oh, wait.
