Sally just can't cope with Percy disappearing so often. One day, 7 months into her pregnancy, Sally collapses. The next day, she is pronounced dead. Baby Estelle is clinging onto life in an incubator. while Paul is trying to figure out what's best for his daughter and step-son. Remembering he has a cousin in Australia, he believes it best if they were to move there with them. Heart-broken, grieving Percy agrees, knowing that even though he has to leave his friends and family at camp half-blood, it was best for his little half-sister to grow up away from monsters and other unimaginable horrors. Percy asks his dad, who tells him that Mako is one of the best places in the world, one of the prides of his kingdom. He even decides to prepare a small dwelling for them near the beach. Four months later, a happy burbling baby arrives on Mako, with her father and half-bro.
