Paisley Dixon was six years old when the world went to Hell. Not like her life was perfect, to begin with. Her mother left her father and got full custody of Paisley when she was three years old and only got to see her father and uncle on holidays and weekends. Paisley knows that her mother uses her just to get back at her father and the man she chose to be with was nothing but an asshole. Paisley was in school when the world fell and no one came for her so she has been on her own for six months until a man named Rick Grimes and a handful of survivors take refuge from a walker herd and finds Paisley all by herself. Will she ever reunite with her father again.

While out looking for an important someone, Daryl Dixon finds himself making a series of mistakes that eventually leads him to Paris, France, where he is tasked with delivering a young boy to the Nest- whatever the hell that was- in return for a way back home. While on this adventure, Daryl has a run-in with a group of children, one of them being the quiet, but angry Dakota Matthews. After the loss of her father, nine-year-old Dakota finds herself left alone in France, unsure of what to do. Dakota keeps to herself, refusing to speak to anyone whatsoever. She doesn't want to be there anymore. All she wants is to find her mother and siblings, across the world, in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Lucky for her, Daryl Dixon just so happens to be heading the same way. • I'd recommend reading Future Ghosts before reading this book. There will be several references back to Future Ghosts and its characters. You'll still be able to figure out what's going on without having read it, but everything will be much more meaningful if you read it. If there are any typos/errors, please don't hesitate to point them out so I can fix them! Comments are appreciated! Enjoy!
