A Revised Definition follows LEA VAS who is spending her summer with her long-distance best friend, RITA KHOURI and her Egyptian family. Lea has always been what she describes as "The Thumb"─the random, third-wheeling, different person in her group of friends. While she cannot wait to spend her summer at her best friend's lake house, paddle boarding and working at their family's pharmacy alongside her crush, SALVATORE DOMINGUEZ, she dreads the moment Rita realizes that she is boring and bland.
