She resents being his muse, and in an attempt to rid the world of one of the portraits, learns his success was not due to his skill, but a demonic pact: each painting hosts a powerful, vengeful entity, in exchange that all who behold the painting will adore it. Can she take back her likeness once it's been immortalized by art-and by immortal beings?
