Reese Fode is a girl who mainly keeps to herself. While dealing with family problems she debates on whether to tell her best friends, Adrienne and Cameron, what's happening at home. She closes herself off to most other people and keeps them from getting hurt by her but one boy made his way through the walls she's built up.

Graham Winters is a new student at their school and he takes an odd interest in Reese. What will happen? Will he find out why it's hard for her to open up?
