Urchin Merman:  Ariel's BFFL since they were 5-years-old. Urchin lives with Jake (his late mom's childhood BFFL). Urchin is the top skater, surfer, motocross biker, and snowboarder in Atlantica, CA. He's also a twelfth grader at APHA (due to a scholarship). Yet Urchin's known to be "from the wrong side of the tracks."

Eric Portman: The popular handsome student council president. He's also a twelfth grader at APHA and Ariel's crush. Yet Eric's 100% oblivious of when anyone has any crushes anybody (including ones on him).
