Urchin Merman: Ariel's BFFL since they were 5-years-old. Urchin lives with Jake (his late mom's childhood BFFL). Urchin is the top skater, surfer, motocross biker, and snowboarder in Atlantica, CA. He's also a twelfth grader at APHA (due to a scholarship). Yet Urchin's known to be "from the wrong side of the tracks."

Eric Portman: The popular handsome student council president. He's also a twelfth grader at APHA and Ariel's crush. Yet Eric's 100% oblivious of when anyone has any crushes anybody (including ones on him).

Yep... Ariel is painfully aware of that fact.

When she asks Urchin to help her out; he agrees to be her wingman--
Yet Ariel's 100% oblivious of Urchin's big crush on her also (since the day they met).

Even if Ariel never falls in love with Urchin in return; He still wants her to fall in love one day.
He really does love and cares about Ariel that much after all.

So she's [finally] in love now... So why does it still sting badly in his heart... that it's not him?
