Zyulla Serenity-efficient, scornful, and impartial-is no stranger to adversity, given her tormented past.
Born and raised in a prosperous family within a major village, she enjoyed a carefree existence until the age of 21, when circumstances took a dark turn.
Joining a guild to pursue a career as a bounty hunter, she finds herself thrust into a dire situation: warned of imminent danger and the onset of war, with enemy forces already encroaching upon a nearby coastal town. Suspicious yet somewhat trusting of the guild's motives, Zyulla hastily agrees to the proposal-a decision made with haste, perhaps too much haste, but one necessitated by the urgency of the circumstances.
Yet doubts linger: Can this guild be trusted? Or is the opposite true? How could someone like Zyulla be integral to such a crisis? Regardless, the die is cast; the choice is made.
