My nightmare before Christmas It was a normal Friday night, but this time decorating the Christmas tree. Everyone was surprisingly relaxed and dare I say.. having fun. My step brother Blake was messing around and play fighting with my step father. everyone was laughing as Blake was acting like a weirdo and actually being funny without trying. it was the perfect Friday night. The kind of Friday nights you see on a Lifetime movie. I started to think what my friends were probably doing at this time. If they had fun like this a lot, because this was rare. "What the fuck!?" My step dad, Ryan, had said bringing me back to reality. I glanced up to see Blayz crouched down, recoiled on the floor. He looked at me with terror in his eyes. I looked at Ryan to see what was in his hand and might've caused this reaction. I sucked in my breath. it was another detention letter. "You're so fucking retarded. You can't do anything right. Couldn't you be good just this once!?" Blake started crying.

Completed!! -- I could hear him running behind me. "HELP!" I started to scream the words repeatedly. I felt like I was the stupid, helpless girl in a horror film. I ran right into a fence and fell down. I got back up and turned around. Blake was right there. He pinned me up against the wood. "You are so stupid!" He chuckled. He grabbed a bottle of some sort and smiled. "Nighty night." He whispered. He sprayed the substance all over me until I blacked out. -- 16 year old Cathy moves from a small Rhode Island town to the big Austin, Texas.
