This is a collection of poems written my Maddie Lynn. They are about birth, love, death, and everything in between. They can be depressing, convivial, awkward, weird, touchy, emotional, and any other feeling that could possibly come from these poems. I hope you enjoy the poems and that when you're done reading, you will have felt something.

Medicine
Cutting open my heart to pour out how I feel. It comes down in floods of blood as words scatter on the floor in a jumbled mess or a pathetic attempt to explain my feelings. A book filled with all of my poetry. Enjoy the somewhat dark and somewhat light hearted rhyming poems that I have written.Concluida

Tired of trying to be everything. Trying to be perfect. Wrong paths and wrong people and missed opportunities. Am I letting my mental illness take over my life? A look into the mind of a BPD, Anxiety ridden woman. With no identity but her Panic. With my ways it's hard to keep down anything healthy, relationships that don't last but stay with me like my own personal demons. And evil around the corner you'd never see coming. The pain changes you. Trauma changes you. It strips you away from yourself. BPD strips away your identity sometimes I guess this is my way of finding myself again, through writing and reflecting and realizing it is okay to be hurting. It tries to make sense of the past and explores trauma head on in an unfiltered way that leaves no room for denial. It's a documentation of my entire life, moments both sun kissed and dark. A book written with the new understanding that expressing how you feel is absolutely vital. Most of my poems come from personal experience and some topics may be sensitive to some readers. A girl with a dark past, scared to overcome it. In a tunnel desperately trying to find the light to see the end of it. Pleading to a god out there for happiness in her life. Gives her heart out, and gets it shredded in return. Dying on the inside ,but for some unknown reason she cant die on the outside. Wonders everyday.. What did she do to deserve this? Will she finally be in peace for once or is it just too good to be true?
