The Gods are dead and we killed them.

The Old Gods vanished thousands of years ago and magic crumbled in their absence, leaving mortals to rebuild a world with no wonder until their very existence was forgotten about.

Some never forgot however. Some went into hiding. Some mourned. Some dreamed of better times. Some waged wars.

Wars far from over.

And now New Gods have risen.

The Abyssals have a grand plan in the making when the betrayal of one of their own forces them to seek mercy from their own hereditary enemy.

The monastery devoted to the New God of Time is thrown out of balance when they receive a letter from a very special individual.

Damian has been hiding his magic for years at his uncle's advice. Which has made life in the place where everyone seems to think he is receiving special treat from their God, who also just so happens to be his best friend, a bit more awkward.

It won't be long before he completes his studies and some people would be very pleased to see their bond weaken.

He plans to remain by Leon's side as he always has. That all changes when he comes across a mysterious pale stranger in the woods.

Also, not exactly a warning but there is explicit lgbt represantation including gay characters so, as a wise person once said, don't like, don't read.
