Christmas time comes around and Adrien has the idea to take his three best friends up to his winter home. As the trip goes on Adrien starts seeing Marinette as more than a friend.

Adrien tiredly leaned against the railing on the bottom stair. Even though Marinette could barely see in the dark, she could still fathom out his tall silhouette and blonde fluffy hair. Adrien yawned and took a step off the stairs, "Marinette? Why aren't you in bed?" He blinked and walked up to Marinette. She turned back to the Christmas tree, "I couldn't sleep." Adrien gets closer and puts an arm around Marinette, making butterflies flap in an angry storm around her stomach. "Is everything okay princess?"

Tightening her arms around herself, she cried out. - He took a deep breath in, held it and then released it. He repeated it a second time. "I'm sorry, Ladybug. I can't just listen to you cry." He threw open the door, his eyes shut tightly. He lowered himself to the floor in front of her, settling down on his knees and extending his arms outwards. He kept his eyes shut and listened for any movement from her. - "You're not alone through this."
