Sam is a sweet pansexual genderfluid kid who had the terrible luck of being placed in an anti-LGBTQ+ school. Sam hasn't had any friends since coming out, when so-called 'friends' left.

Sam's (and all the other LGBTQ+ members at Sam's school) worst nightmares are the twin sisters, Van and Val. Van and Val have identical looks and identical hatred for the LGBTQ+ community. Everyone knows their home life is bad. Because of this, the teachers let them get away with bullying.

It's just an excuse, of course. If Van and Val lived in a mansion with a picture-perfect family, the teachers still wouldn't stop them.

But their home life being bad gives them a reason.

Sam knows their home life is bad, of course. But Sam doesn't know just how bad until Val shows up on the doorstep at exactly 3:28 in the morning, bruised and broken, asking for a place to stay.

And says something that throws Sam's whole life in a twist.

On the cover: Van on the left, Sam on the right (and I'm gonna be providing Gacha Club pictures at the beginning of each chapter).

Okay, so I know, I'm still working on Smiling and Dying (the rest'll be there soon, I promise!), but I had this idea and can't get it out of my head. It's gonna be like an enemies to lovers style story, following DuckyMcQuack07's thing in their writing prompts book (specifically, part 22) on how to write enemies to lovers. This is gonna suck, but I might as well write it.
