This is a short story I wrote for school, but I decided to put it on here to see your opinion.
Robin Carmichael is the young leader of her group, her family, who are trying to survive the trials of the zombie apocalypse. While listening to the unfortunate death of a few of her comrades she reminisces on what happened to her group's former leader.
P.S. I don't own the pictures on the cover, I found them on Google.

Ardamin Tales: Number 3 - Viridian.
A seven year old girl trying to survive the zombie apocalypse in a fairly small city in rural New Mexico. This is the third in my short story series taken from the universe created for my first book. Ardamin: Clone #7. These short stories are more horror focused than the main book. But how can you tell the story of a zombie apocalypse without some horror? This story is unedited and first draft as keeping with my first two short stories posted to Instagram and therefore will not be polished or fixed with multiple drafts leading to an end product. This story was meant to be raw or just as it poured from my head. Spelling and punctuation errors are only to be expected, if the cause you some offence well... that's just the way this story was made. When two lone survivors meet The Team, a strange group that claim to know where a cure is, they decide to pair up. They take on starvation, heartbreak, disagreements, and Mutants to bring back civilization to the way it was. One night while you were sleeping, Clara decided to sneak out on her own. You spent days searching for her but you couldn't find her anywhere. You went without food and water trying to find her. On day 6 of searching, you collapsed against a tree, exhausted and crying. But a redneck male carrying a cross bow discovered you. The experiment.
They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. That's why they call me: Death -----------------------------------------************************************--------------------------------------------- Death. A teen girl, pitch black hair, black eyes, white skin. Her height is 5'8. People are scared of her, not just because of her strength but because of they way she kills. She lived in this hell hole, where they take her to rooms. Examine. Fight. She knows she won't be able to entertain them for long. She decides to run. Soul. Brown hair as mud, blue eyes as the sky. Hight 6'2. Tanned and toned body. Death's best friend in the hell hole they're in, he's as cold as she is. But shows a bit of sympathy. Well... More than her at least. He's been there for her, ever since she entered this place of crap. They're the two most feared. As some people say, they're a perfect couple. Killing. Fighting. Cold hearted creatures. When the world went to hell it didn't make much difference to y/n's life. She was alone before everything and she was alone now. When everything started she avoided people. It was easier on her own, or so she thought. In her eyes, people were no different than animals now and she wasn't going to risk getting killed just to have people by her side. That is, until she finds a small girl lost in the woods... Learning the girl had lost her group, Y/n, for the first time in a long time, was willing to find people. To reunite the small girl with her family. But when she does finally stumble across the group, which was slowly falling apart at the seams, she can't seem to leave them. Something in her decided to stay and help. That and a brunette woman... NOTE: I LOVE Maggie and saw no x reader fics, so I decided, hey I'll write one. I will do a male reader one if requested!
