"i don't know. nothing really mattered, not to me anyways. i was just... lost. that's the only way to put it. that is, until she came along. she changed my life. she changed me. before her, everything was just whatever. now she's all i think about. "if you don't mind my asking, what happened to her, Jack?" "that's the problem, i don't know what 'happened to her.' all i honestly know, is that it was her. it's her now. it's always been her. that's the only way that i can, and know how to put it. she hasn't called. hasn't texted. no emails, direct messages, tweets, instagram posts, facebook statuses. nothing." "nothing?" "nothing." xx

Things in Omaha aren't very extraordinary. Or maybe that's just me. I never go to parties. I never have sex. I guess you could say I'm not a normal teenager, or that my reputation isn't the best. And I'd probably agree with you. I'm graduating this year and I cannot wait to leave this place behind, but that's in a year. I need to get through one more year of hell. And here I am, sitting in my blue Focus in front of my highschool. People walking in. I take a deep breath and get out of my car: I have to start somewhere. I walk inside and nobody yells my name saying they missed me like they are to the other kids. But nobody stares. It's like I'm invisible I walk into my first class, AP World History and I take a look at the seating chart, noticing that I'm in the back, and mentally high-fiving myself Until I notice that I'm next to Jack Gilinsky, 1/3 of the coolest group of guys in school.I hate him with a writhing passion, but I have too suck it up. Here's to our senior year
