In a suburban high school, students read Romeo and Juliet, as most do. Except, this comes with a twist,Mrs.Sanford decides to split the class when they disagree, one group, the Romeos, believing it is a cautionary tale, about the stupidity of youth and shallow lust, the others, the Juliets, believing it's a beautiful tragedy about poisonous hatred conquered by love.
So of course, as everyone is divided by their beliefs, arguments arise. That is until Mark, a Romeo, bumps into April walking out of class, and sparks fly. But these modern day star-crossed lovers will soon realize that maybe the books are wrong.
