After the tragic end the reader had come up with to save the world from Sephiroth's intentions, both of them return to life and to Gaia through unsettling conditions, to find a post-apocalypse world surrounding them. Who and why has brought them back? What happened to the world? If Sephiroth was supposed to be the world's enemy, why is everything in ruin while he was dead? How even this mess will be corrected?
