David was always a normal kid with a normal life, but he longed for more excitement.  He gets exactly that and a lot more when he and the rest of humanity get involved in a planet-wide civil war. He ends up becoming an integral part in ending the war and the only one capable of saving the human race from extinction. But to do that, he'll have to cross lines that most people could never imagine crossing and make important life or death decisions.

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing. (Don't be too harsh please)

"It's human nature. It's instinct to survive, no matter the cost." The world has fallen into desolation. The apocalypse has already started and finished, leaving some of the surviving ones with strange powers and mysterious scars. The world has ended, according to some, and is now in a state of rebirth. Others say it hasn't ended yet and that it's only going to get worse. The remaining people have grouped together in packs and gangs, raiding the desolate cities and avoiding the ones called the Destroyers, who capture and torture the remaining survivors. No one is safe. One fifteen year old boy knows this better than anyone. He and his older sister lived together, sticking to the dark alleys of their abandoned city, and survived for years after the apocalypse, until the Destroyers came and took her away, reigning terror on the few who remained in the city. The boy, desperate to find someone to help him save his sister, leaves the city and finds one of the youngest cooperative packs in North America, called the Raiders, comprised of unwanted individuals with the strange powers left from the destruction of years past. Their leader, a destructive insomniac, promises to help him in return for the skills and usefulness this young boy seems to possess, but something disrupting sends waves of unease through the Raiders, something about a forgotten past and talk of a mutiny. "Maybe there's more to life than just surviving." ... Rated C for Caution. Though it's rated mature, there is no bad language or vivid descriptions of sexual contact. It does have very strong themes. Now a new generation of Emps are coming of age. Seventeen-year-old David Franklin is a powerful and intelligent young warrior. His goal in life is to eliminate the Gola and the Influxes. This will not be easy. Most would say it is impossible. No one in the world knows why the Gola attack or where they even come from. David is determined to figure it out. Despite his might and resolve, he will not be able to do this alone. He will have to gain resources and allies as he goes. He will also have to learn more about his own power and the past of the world if he is to stop the next Influx.

That is until one who was dear to her was killed, in front of her. Of course, she was devastated. Why would that be a question? One day, Fabio decided to put her into his school filled with students that he specifically chose to be in. When she was finally forced to be in it, she found out things she thought that only existed in books. Powers unknown to the modern world, sheltered children who only knows the world through TV and non-interactive computers. All of the information comes in that school, but never comes out. I gotta say, why would you believe something that was written and altered by humans from outside? Would you even put your trust on the person who doesn't let you out unless he wants you to? In this world, no one ever knew the true meaning of peace. Wars between countries erupted, monsters roamed the earth killing innocent lives, villains attacked and made great attempts to conquer cities, so much was going on in this mad world; that was until heroes came to be, fighting off the dangers this world had to offer to the weak. In this story, a young man named Electrolite had only wanted to be a normal man, but ever since he was birthed with his powers and saved many lives along the way with them, his destiny had been written for him to become the best hero in the world, one that people could look up to in times of grief, struggle, and fear. With making friends along the way to heroism, Electrolite will have to face a challenge that little to no newcomer heroes would have to face, a powerful villain rumored to destroy worlds.

What's not enough for one, too much for three, and just right for two? A secret. But you know teenagers. We tend to break or bend the rules. In this case, three is just right for the secret that these highschoolers hold. Facit autem virtus nostra nos. Our power makes us one. "So, what am I?" "We, we don't know. We're still trying to figure that out." And with that, he got up and left the room. Swirling his coat behind him, leaving us to deal with this information. I felt as if I had just been slapped directly in the face with a frying pan. What do you mean you don't know what I am? As if I'm some sort of alien creature or something that's going extinct. I'm not a creature to be classified. Yet that was how I felt.
