After helping Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends save the world, Ruby, the Snowy Wolf-Jackal & last of her sub-species Mobian kind, decided to go off to save her own friend, Nil the Jackal, who had been brainwashed by Julian "Eggman" Robotnic into being Infinite.

(Disclaimer: This story is heavily based off of the story by both Garrulous64 and The Sega Scourge, who get credit for a lot of the story. However, there are aspects of the story that are altered, such as the custom hero, whom I've named Ruby the Snowy Wolf Jackal, and Nil(, Non-brainwashed Infinite,) the Jackal forming a more romantic relationship by the end of the story of this fan-made "DLC" of a story. There are other tweaks, which will be revealed in the story, enough to make it unique. Anyways, with that out of the way, let's begin.)All Rights Reserved

(Y/n) didn't like this because of her extreme kindness and small crush on the scary Jackal. She stood up for him and in the end she quit the resistance. Causing Sonic to go into a regrettful frenzy and even asked for Eggman to help get her back. In the meantime, (Y/n) was making friends with the Jackal herself.

Eggman disowned Metal and called him useless before firing the cannon. But Metal chose to take the Chaos Emeralds when the portal became unstable and turned into a black hole. While grabbing the Ruby, Metal Sonic sacrificed himself to save the world, making everyone believe him to be gone... However, they did not know that he was sent to an alternate dimension, where he would begin his new life becoming a hero in the SMG4 universe, proving he will be a better hero than Sonic.

As Emerl says his final goodbye to Sonic and his friends that treated him with kindness and compassion, a light flashes, enveloping the Gizoid. And as the light dissipates, Emerl was no longer there. He was truly gone.............or so the blue hedgehog thought. Unbeknownst to Sonic and his friends, Emerl was teleported to a different world, but not without a heavy cost. With his link with Sonic separated, he loses almost all of his memories of them, their skills and abilities were erased. All except his name. As Emerl sits on the tree, powered down and lost, he would one day be discovered by a group of students, while they were doing their mission. And the leader of the team would form a 'Link' that would change the orange and yellow robot, more or less.
