This story takes place only 10 years after the time of peace began. Hybrids are hunted by all but the Rainwings and the Sandwings. Dragons don't trust them because they don't belong to one tribe. They are sometimes horrible fails, but usually they are powerful dragons with skills of more than one tribe. This scares dragons and has brought them to hunt all hybrids. Follow Abyss and 6 other hybrids on fight to stay alive in the ever more threatening Phyrria. They have no idea of the great and dangerous journey ahead of them. A worldwide war that was caused by the SkyWings causes thousands of dragons to be slaugtered, all in the name of power by the new SkyWing queen. Gavin, a NightWing with an odd name and the first NightWing animus in generations, was threatened to be used as an deadly weapon by the NightWings, even if he likes it or not. The NightWing island was never destroyed by the volcano, so Queen Glory does not rule the NightWings. This book doesn't canonly follow the events of Wings of Fire, so sorry if some moments doesn't add up or make sense. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the story :)

The twist is that the Skywing is James, or Phoenix in this story. Basically James gets pulled into a portal that takes him to the WoF universe, and in order to go back to his home he has to do one thing: help the rest of the dragonets stop the war. I'll be keeping Glory in bc I don't wanna leave out our sassy Rainwing queen, and also bc plot. Of course, there will be plenty of things that will change, which you will see as the story progresses! Keep in mind that characters may act OOC (Out Of Character) to fit my writing style, so I don't want to see any of you yell at me about it.
