I made my own twist on Icarus's story. I always liked the idea of Icarus and Apollo being in love. So this is my own personal take. It's rather short so it's a good small read.

To only add to their troubles, word had been going around that a prisoner of war had gotten lose. No matter what, she couldn't get away. She was captured again and brought to the Kings heed. Instead of killing her outright, he bought her life and turned her into a maid. She gets along great with all the other workers. Well almost all of them. Because she wasn't from their kingdom, most avoided talking to her. While she loved staying at the castle, she didn't like one part. Her feelings. While staying at the castle, she began to fall for the cold yet charming king Apollo. What will happen when she finds out that one night between the two, could end up changing their life's forever? Okay, so I'd just like to say that this is not well written whatsoever lol. All the grammar is correct, and there's some decent description, but it all feels very rushed if I'm honest. I tried to cram too many ideas in and yeah, it made.. whatever this is. Uh, I have some one-shots on my profile which might be better to read?... If you don't mind a fic being rushed this is probably great for you, lol, but the plot line is very higgledy piggeldy. Um, enjoy? Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. (This is future me in brackets, btw, it did not turn out well lmao). In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. The ships are: Pipabeth - Piper + Annabeth Chrisse - Clarisse + Chris Solangelo - Nico + Will Valgrace (platonic) - Jason + Leo because I despise Caleo sorry lmao Perpollo - Percy + Apollo I do not own any of these characters, all rights are to Rick Riordan other than the storyline/plot.
