The other seemed startled that he was talking to him, but he furrowed his brow and shifted defensively. "So what?"
"I'm just sayin'." Sylvain was aware of how drunk he sounded. "Maybe we could be friends?"
The boy stiffened, narrowing his eyes. "Friends?" He echoed.
"Friends. So, whaddya say?"
The other hesitated. "I don't even know you."
"Acquaintances, then?" Sylvain chuckled.
"Maybe."
"I'm Sylvain, if that helps sway your mind."
"Felix. And no, not really." Felix crossed his arms and shifted his weight again.
"Aww, c'mon. I really am trying." Sylvain pouted. He chuckled when he saw Felix roll his eyes.
"I'll consider it," he replied, "if you'd give me a place to stay overnight. It's cold, and I have nowhere."
