Killua has loved basketball since he was a little kid. He'd always ask his older brothers to play with him, the result was always the same. Killua was always victorious. But, he could never beat his oldest brother, Illumi. 

Now, he's in his last year of high school. Back in his hometown,  he's transferring to Padokea High School. 

It's his lucky day it seems. The day he transfers to the school, is coincidentally the day of basketball tryouts. He underestimates his opponents, until he meets Gon Freecss, the captain of the basketball team.
