In the world where Winter Avanthe-Lione lives, living with different human-looking races are the ones they are accustomed to. Even she is not of a pure-blooded human. Her father is a mage, the most similar to humans that the only difference are they can wield elements through spells.
Then there are the vampires who is more different when it comes to their physical needs. Unlike the first two, they will thirst for blood. Much more, most have pale skin color and their eyes either golden or red. Then there are werewolves whom do not transform into real wolves but can make their bodies covered in fur, their hands with claws and have as much strength as giant beasts. Their similarities? They have destined partners.
There are much more different beings but the four races dominates. And among those, Winter is scared of one particular person.
