Once upon a time, there lived a little girl, a simple girl with a mind too complex to be comprehended by anyone except herself. She knew there was something different about her, she had always known and always felt different, and she rather enjoyed that.
So she worked on her difference, thrived on it, nurtured and cared for it, till it grew and blossomed into the most beautiful thing she had ever witnessed - magic.

Victoria Wraith was much more than what would be known as a normal human. She had more than just blood pumping through her veins and more than just thoughts flowing through her mind, and she couldn't stand living with her ordinary parents anymore.

So one day, with a wish in her heart and a wave of her hand, she disappeared. Victoria disappeared from the sights, minds, and memories of everyone. She disappeared from the face of the earth -

Only to reappear on the other side of it.
The wizarding side of it.

Victoria didn't care much about.. well.. anything. The only thing that ever caught her attention was the wonders of magic.
With an almost non-existent moral compass and an overly practical outlook on life, Victoria sets out to learn more about the fairest and most ethereal aspects of wizardry as well as its most sordid, nightmarish, and monstrous ones.
Meeting new people and making new friends, Victoria Wraith, in the process of her own self-actualization, helps those return that have strayed from their true path - whether it be the path of healing or killing.

BOOK 3 OF THE GIRL WHO SAW TOMORROW - Make sure you have read the first two. ❝No one, no matter how great, can know of their own Destiny...❞ As the war against Voldemort rages, an unexpected rebellion brews amidst the crowds. For the first time since the time of Merlin, legends of a magical being are spreading across the Wizarding and Muggle worlds, sending into peril the very Statute of Secrecy that has allowed the Wizarding kind to live in freedom. Some call them a saviour, others call them a dangerous untamable force. But all agree on one thing: Darkness itself bends to their will. And nothing dark is ever good, right? Alas, there is no answer in sight. Harry Potter is nowhere to be found. Hogwarts has been overrun by Death Eaters. The Order of the Phoenix is in hiding. The Ministry is in shambles. And Lord Voldemort is breathing fear into every aspect of life. In the eye of the storm stands Margaret Xenakis. Meticulously planning aspects of the future could have never prepared her for the bloodshed of war. When a legendary magical society offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance, Margaret realises that the Wizarding World outside Hogwarts is much more complex than she had expected. With her own life at stake, she must make her stand for the greater good before it's too late. No matter how unprepared or unworthy she feels. It is up to her, and only her, to minimise the damage of the crossfire. Sounds like a lot? Add Death, Darkness and Doom to the mix. Talk about absolutely unhinged luck... ~~~ Warning: this fic is a giant band-aid to the plot boo-boos of Deathly Hallows book and movie storylines :)

Writing this for a contest: (prompt 44) In the middle of a storm, a stranger arrives at her cabin, and she offers them shelter. But the storm's forecast said they'll be stuck for much longer than expected. *************** She was a squib, and she lived in the middle of the woods away from society. Her parents were purebloods, but they passed away from Dragon Pox, leaving the girl alone. She was raised away from society because her parents wanted to keep her safe from the wizarding world. Her parents raised her without magic, or if they did use magic, it was when she wasn't around or wasn't paying attention. She was oblivious to magic, because she had never seen it before. So, when a stranger arrives at her cabin in the middle of a wild storm, she was hesitant, because she had never been around anyone but her own parents before. When the forecast came through that the storm made it impossible for everyone to leave their homes, she realized she was stuck with the stranger longer than she anticipated. The stranger had an almost threatening aura around him, and that scared her slightly, but she couldn't help but feel intrigued by him. What she didn't know, was in the wizarding world, there was a special thing called soul mates. This stranger had arrived by accident, but there was reason. He had been trying to get away from the evil of his father, and went in search of his soul mate, but the storm slowed him down, unknowingly bringing him right to his soul mate's front door...

Evelin Beaumont never dwelled on mysteries. Raised by a mother who refused to speak about the past, she and her twin brother, Cassian, learned very early on that it was better not to ask questions. But there were two mysteries the twins could never fully ignore; the father they never knew and the enigmatic grandmother who only ever seemed to speak in riddles. At Hogwarts, the twins experience friendship, romance, and the ordinary mischief of growing up. Cassian is enamored by the lovely Daphne Greengrass, and Evelin finds herself being consistently drawn to Draco Malfoy, the boy she hated at first sight but can't seem to stay away from. But the deeper the twins tread into the Wizarding World, the more questions they find themselves asking as the past begins to unravel before them. A war that never truly ended. A plan left unfinished. Names that still hold power. And a legacy they were never meant to inherit. This is the tale of two siblings caught between love, loyalty, and choices. And above all, a refusal to leave each other behind.
