Steph is a 21-year-old who freshly got out of a three-year bachelor's program in International Business. She moves from her home to Zuzu City with the expectation of getting a good-paying job, but her studies end up being useless and she gets stuck working for Joja with a salary just barely over minimum wage. Somewhere along the lines, she meets wonderful and less wonderful people, among which lies Alex, the stunning gridball player who's not sure what to say or do all the time, but always knows how to make up for his mistakes. Little does everybody know, Steph is actually transgender. This story covers one's way through navigating what for others is a confusing time but for Stephanie, just a thing she has to do to achieve her happiness. Throughout the story, there is an evolution in regard to the pronouns used to refer to the main character that I hope people don't perceive as offensive. This fanfiction tells my story, the way I experienced gender dysphoria which is much diminished in comparison to others on the same spectrum. After spending the day trying to gain control of her confused mind, she could no longer stand being alone in this freaky situation. Her best friend, Chloe, might have been her best bet for someone to share this information with. She just wanted to get it off her chest and she was prepared to be called crazy by everyone who heard word of Max claiming to have time travel powers, she was even prepared to be called crazy by her best friend. Life is Strange: Reunion is a post-Life is Strange: True Colors adventure, telling the story of Max and Chloe (Pricefield) and Steph and Alex (Chenrich). One year after the events of True Colors, Max and Chloe embark on a road trip across the U.S. and find themselves in Haven Springs, Colorado. There, Chloe and Steph reunite for the first time since 2010 (the events of Before the Storm). Then, something bizarre happens: Steph and Chloe share a dream that feels eerily realistic. Is this just a figment of their imaginations, or did Max, somehow, create another alternative reality? The four of them must work together to determine what's real and what's imaginary, using both Max's and Alex's powers to unravel the mystery. (As usual: this is a work in progress.) Trigger warnings have been provided at the start of each episode. (P.S. I designed the cover myself. The 'Funko Style' Pricefield and Chenrich characters are my own drawings, with the LiS logo and [original concept art] BtS logo.
