Atlas is a strong pack leader. He is well respected and loved. His sister, Iris, plays just as important a role as the liaison between both the human and the werewolf world. You see, humans have recently become aware of the existence of werewolves. So Iris studies law and handles any legal matter for the wolves in the Lunar River Region. 

One day Iris' wolf (Nora) is caught in a bear trap and just before she is killed, a mysterious giant wolf saves her. Atlas, catching a glimpse of that wolf, is forever grateful to whomever it was and sets out to find him. Just as he gives up hope, his Beta, Mavis,  finds a man unconscious in a cave with a wounded leg. Not sure if he was a threat,  he was captured and brought to the pack house. Imprisoned while being treated.

Atlas follows a wonderful scent into his basement, who was this man and why did he smell so good?
