As Hornet CV-8 The last sister of the Yorktown Class was new to the Base she saw her sister Enterprise and Yorktown in a rush and ask her what is going on they tell her to pack her planes and leave and never returned Hornet asked why but they ignored her questions and then she followed her sisters orders 

As she and her sisters head to the Solomon Islands they left her there and tell them to stay out of sight from the enemies and then they never returned. Hornet waited and waited until she found out her countries downfall, she fell into despair as she thinks both of her sister's were already dead she didn't even get an chance to know and meet them, that all changed until an Woman wearing an Black Coat and hat gave her a chance for a reason to live

They pushed away humanity from the high seas. Humanity formed an alliance called Azur Lane. The alliance consisted of all the major countries that fought each other during the second world war. Azur Lane was able to repulse the Sirens and brought back peace in the planet. At this point all of the ship girls returned to their normal state. Some went back to the very waters where they were sunk. Others became ship museums. The ones turned into museums were considered the lucky ones. But not for Enterprise. Her scrapping is inevitable. The fight for her to be turned into a ship museum failed. And majority of her steel was used to build USS Enterprise (CVN-65). But somehow her ship girl form suddenly resurfaces in a time when a ninth ship bearing her name has been successfully built and launched. She will also meet her daughter who was made from majority of her steel. Once again the Sirens threatened humanity in the present time. The ship girls from the past have been recalled back into action. Many of the nations thought that Enterprise will never be seen again.
