"I don't believe in guardian angels. I haven't since that man killed my mom." My voice shook with emotion, and I could tell that I was close to tears. I could tell from the look in his eyes that he wanted to comfort me, and his arms began to reach out, as if he wanted to hold me but knew I wouldn't let him. Instead, his emerald eyes burned into mine.
"Do you believe in me?"
Following her mother's death, Kiley is left emotionally scarred. After attempting to take her own life several years later, she is saved by a young man named Elijah, who vows to save her from herself - no matter what it takes. Slowly, she begins to once again open her heart and lead the life she was meant for. But what happens when her mother's killer returns to carry out his final mission - Kiley's death?
Based on the experiences of a friend, my own experiences, and my twisted imagination. The idea for the title came from 'Your Guardian Angel' by The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
