Holly awakens panting and sweating, fearing for the life of her brother, as she had just witnessed his murder right before her eyes. Expect she didn't. She had a nightmare. Nightmares and dreams are uncommon in this society; it was a genetic trait that some children had, and Holly was one of them. Holly meets Kim, who tells her that she will attend Solominator Academy of Dreams and Nightmares, where everyone has the genetic disorder. There she meets Blake, White and fellow nightmarite, Peter.
