But instead of me thinking he would catch me even if it was so cliché, he hadn't noticed I fell. So there I was, hands and knees on the ground with no prince in shining white armour to save me. Dramatic, as if it's the end of the world that he'd know. Again, he laughs. Nods. "Like a fly bothers a spider," she continues, taking a sip of her tea. "Careful," he grins. "I don't think your analogy there is quite correct. You see spiders tend to like flies." He stands up, takes another bite of his half eaten toast and walks towards the archway that she's sitting nearest to. Their fathers, Draco and Harry Malfoy-Potter, are trying to be the best they can be, but challenges prove hard when Scorpius starts his years at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and he hardly speaks to anybody. Albus Potter, a hot-headed, passionate boy tries everything to help his younger brother. But he cannot do much before turning to his fathers to help him. Scorpius Malfoy isn't sure of what to make of his family. Was it really as normal as they say? Or was this just one big, drawn-out joke? Stumbling through his childhood, Scorpius tries to figure it all out without the detection of his parents. But, will he be able to with a rising affection for a certain person and an inability to cope with harsh, new feelings?Concluida

This is my own version of the next generation's first year at Hogwarts. I wrote the majority of this story long before The Cursed Child came out, so it does not follow a similar plot line. Albus, Rose, and Scorpius struggle to be friends as they are sorted into different houses. Draco and Harry meet again, and this time, things are different. Scorpius explains how his mother died. Pansy Parkinson's son always seems to get in the way. Lucius Malfoy has never been more evil. I've worked extremely hard on this story, so I hope you read it. Enjoy!
