Darkkit has always been kind to his younger sister and wants to lead the clan with her as his Medicine Cat, but when a tragedy becomes of Mistkit he becomes mad and blames his father. As a apprentice he gets angered at a gathering and attacks a Riverclan cat almost killing him, realizing what he has done he runs away to find a answer to his madness. There he finds what he needs to finally have his revenge on his father for leaving Mistkit behind and become leader of his former clan. But will this answer lead to his reign, or his downfall... Book 1 in the DSA series, next book will be Shadowstrike's Sacrifice, then Nightbreeze's Loyalty Caution: Slight language warning blood and gore warning LGBTQ+ Friendly Some descriptive gore. Life as a kittypet in the warrior clans can be hard, especially when, somehow, you get everyone in the whole clan to hate you. Meanwhile, a new apprentice- Starpaw- was supposed to be a medicine cat apprentice, but her leader had other intentions. Sage is a delicate plant, one that can be crushed simply with a strong, hefty paw. And in SageClan, this paw belongs to Cougarstar, the leader who seems to have no heart. he is strict and sharp with his warriors and only seems to be remotely kind to his mate and his heir, Bearpatch, who seems not too bothered by his father's issues. Plenty of rules have been set in place to be sure that SageClan flourishes for as long as it can, and despite the fact that Cougarstar has not made the majority of these rules, they have certainly been bent for some cats of the Clan. of course, with Cougarstar's permission, for if anything were to slip by the leader, the cat would be in grave trouble. BlazeClan has been evicted from their territory; they have no other choice but to flee into the mountains for shelter. The clan is still under the belief that Swanpaw is the prophecy cat; they turn to her for guidance and expect her to know the way to their final destination. But Goslingpaw and her friends and foster parents know who really is the cat of the prophecy, and Goslingpaw can't help but realise that she keeps hearing the call of a wild snow goose, despite not knowing where it is. The voices are growing louder, her powers are getting stronger, this perilous journey may lead Goslingpaw and BlazeClan to their destiny... Or maybe to their ultimate demise.
