Nicoli's grandfather, Gustav, lived a long, remarkable life, and was a man of many eccentricities and desires. They say he never cried when he was born. Even after the midwives struck his bottom until it was peachy-red, he did not cry! Others even claim he learned to talk when he was merely six months old! "Maybe it's because of those fangs?" Throughout his childhood, Gustav was a bit of an oddball and had unusual habits. Unlike other children, he detested the outdoors and spent his days holed up in the library-explicitly avoiding the sunlight. "Is that why his skin is so pale and without blemishes?" He grew to be unparalleled in both appearance and talents. Something he called a misfortune, as it brought him nothing but disdain and envy from men and women alike. His talents in magic were so ethereal that some believed he was not human at all. "How can a human possess such strength, and command such powerful magic while retaining their sanity?" Perhaps as a price to pay for his unusual, ethereal talents, a sinister nature akin to a curse lay hidden in Gustav. "This substitute is no good either! Should I try human blood next?" ----------------------------------------------------------------- However, this is not the story of Gustav's life; that was the prequel. Years later, Gustav's time has long passed, and with the end of his life fast approaching, his sole reason for living is his grandson, Nicoli. As fate would have it, however, past mistakes come back to haunt Gustav, causing his untimely demise. In the aftermath, Nicoli learns there was a lot his grandfather kept hidden from him, and as he seeks revenge, his only lead is Gustav's last words: "Drink the witch's blood!!" ----------------------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER: The cover used does not belong to the author of this novel. The sun beat down on my skin, my tattered clothes showed parts of skin that where exposed to it's harmful rays. My bare feet sunk into the ground, their angry screams echoed behind me, encouraging me forward.I stopped at a clearing, whipping my head around I looked for a sign that would show me that that was the direction to flee towards. The yells of villagers came increasingly closer, taunting me, calling me foul names making me fear my fate even more. I looked over to the right of the clearing, seeing a flash of black through the thick leaves fly over he edge, I ran towards that direction. I ran faster than I had ever before, with the fear of losing my life keeping me going. And I hoped, that if I ran far enough, I would escape with my life. ------ A cabin, hidden deep in the woods was where I spent my ten years of life before my family was taken away from me before my own very eyes. They chased me, hunted me down, tried to kill me. All because I was different. I spent years on the run, adopting the life of a criminal, taking the worst path of life. I met an unlikely ally, who saved my life and made a contract with me. But then, we where captured. By a man who wore an eye patch with a demon butler. His name? Ciel Phantomhive. --------------------(COMPLETED) I do not own Black Butler or any of it's characters. I only own the plot line and my OC's.
