Wanda and Pietro always dreamed of exploring what's beyond Sokovia but due to their parents being strict, they never got the chance to. Until, they graduated from college and was able to finally leave their nest. They both were able to get jobs in New York in which they decided to live there for a while. Then tragedy struck, Wanda has lost her other half in a motorcycle accident that broke her to pieces and left her extremely depressed. She had to go back to their home country for his funeral and to find a way to deal with her grief for a while. 3 months later, even when not fully healed, she decided to go back to New York on her own to try and move forward with her life.
