The suburbs are one place that people overlook, you see at first glance people only see a nice and quiet suburban neighborhood dwelling filled with large modern style and contemporary homes, beautiful high end luxury vehicles driving up and down their streets and good old wholesome families living out there.

A neighborhood paradise one might say however, what if I told you that a lot more happens than the watchful eye catches, what if I said that everything happens out there, what you believe me?

If not, then maybe you should find out for yourself, this novel of eight short stories takes place in the upper middle class suburban neighborhood dwellings of Cresset Penk.

The main protagonist of these tales is also the narrator, meet fifteen-year-old Tom, a African American teenager who lives in a large white modern style house with his mother Janelle and his father Robert.

They too are a good wholesome family who lives well out here. In addition to them, Tom frequently mingles with his closet neighbor and best friend Channing, a fifteen-year-old Chinese American female teenager.

Yeah, Tom and Channing are a inseparable duo that tear up the southern suburban neighborhood street with their mischief, everything seems fine. That is until they meet a series of the most unbelievable things possible and you will read on as they go through these random incidents. Furthermore, once you get through with reading this novel, you'll probably change your opinion about the suburbs.
