Arlette Bella Rose, second daughter of the late Aurora and Phillip, and supposedly the perfect picture of what a princess should be. Poised, elegant, beautiful, mannerly, everything that was deemed important to her was exactly what she was, nothing more, nothing less. Behind the scenes however, the flaws were more than evident. With all her life being ruled and calculated by her wicked grandmother, her spirit was broken, her body was weak, and her mind was tired. But with her beloved sister by her side, surely they must be able to deal with their wicked grandmother until they're old enough to leave the life they lead behind... right? Sometimes an unbreakable sisterly bond isn't even enough to hold everything together. When an unexpected betrayal throws Arlette off her course, she's forced into an entirely new nightmare. With more at stake than ever before, Arlette must learn to be brave for the sake of her future and her life as she knows it. Now, when she ran away from home did she expect to find a charming young pirate that was willing enough to take her in? Not exactly, but was it what she had needed all this time? Quite possibly... ... maybe Arlette wasn't such a perfect princess after all. A/N Hiya! Author here! Princess Brielle Florian and Prince Benjamin Florian are both the next rulers of the United Kingdom of Auradon, both being crowned on the same day. With the new royal pressure and paparazzi being worse as ever, Ben decides on his first proclamation. He decides to bring five children from the infamous Isle of the Lost to have a chance at a normal life, five of the worst of the worst that is. The son of Cruella De Vil, the son of Jafar, the son of Captain Hook, the daughter of the Evil Queen, and finally of course the daughter of Maleficent. With Ben being immediately lovestruck by the daughter of the fae Maleficent, his twin sister goes on high alert as she realizes the kids might have some sinister plans for Auradon. Not allowing any feelings to get in her way of protecting her kingdom, not willingly that is. When the VKs realize that the future queen will not be easy to fool they have to make a Plan B to ensure that neither she nor her brother will get in the way of their plans, or so they thought. It's all fun and games until a simple potion ends up only intensifies feelings that were already hiding under the surface. Hiya! Its the author here! Thank you for reading, just as a disclaimer there will be cursing and mild sexual themes, but nothing too intense unless labeled otherwise :) And of course, I do not own the Descendants universe, all proper credits are to the original minds of its creators. The only character I own is Brielle Florian :) -Brooke
