The hill blazed, it's flames leaping above the trees, as if trying to grab at the stars, and pull them to the Earth.
"Do you remember the sun?" Andrew asked. He looked expectantly at his friend, John. They sat on a grassy hill, watching the destruction of one of the biggest forests in all of Evelafor.
"Vaguely," he replied. "You can sometimes see it in the mirrors in the mansion."
"That's dangerous, John, too risky for someone as young as you." Andrew turned to John, giving him a serious look. John's eyes stayed glued to the scene ahead of them, the light outlining his perfect features.
John didn't respond. Andrew puffed his white cheeks out and sighed. "I know."
