Orochimaru created Log back when Naruto's generation were kids (in this story). He was with Orochimaru when they meet Karin. They started dating about a week before obito declared war. Three years after the war comes a little boy with a pale skin color, two whisker marks, orange colored eyes, and blue hair with red tips. Karin in this has Matatabi.(Boruto is not naruto and hinata's kid in this. And doesn't look like his canon self.) Boruto has Uzumaki chains, jougan, sage mode(snake), and can use the armor eater jutsu that Log can do.
