This is a story about some "totally normal" kids. It takes place in the world of Hex. Magical human- animal hybrids have to hide their magic in fear of a war breaking out. It's mostly a story of kids having to figure out the cruel world while they hide their differences. 

But that's not the only thing they're hiding.
