Superman is also known as Clark Kent his secret identify on earth, his birth name [krptonian name] is Kal-El that his parents Lara, and Jor-El named him before there death on krypton, when Clark was a young baby.
After a long journey though space, Superman landed on earth, in Kansas Smallville meeting John Kent, and Martha, Kent his new earth parents. They raised Clark as one of their own, and never told anyone including Clark about how they got the alien baby. Until one day, when Clark was in high school after a football game Pa Kent, toke Clark home and showed him his kryptonian rocket and told him how he came to be on earth. Clark then decided after playing football in high school he felt like he was cheating because of his powers. So he quit football. Then Clark looking at his rocket one day, surprised his father and mother on krypton’s hologram shooted from out of the rocket! They told Clark about how he was sent to earth after his home planets destruction, and how he has amazing powers because of the earths yellow sun and the reason he didn’t have powers on krypton is because, that planet had a red sun witch, toke away superman’s powers. After that Clark realized his father had gave him a ton of gems from krypton. Clark then went to the Atlantic Ocean and threw one of the gems his krytonian father gave him. To his surprise the gem created a very large ice fortress. Superman put all of his kryptonian things in there including, a statue of his kryptonian parents, his holograms, etc. Superman could ask Jor-el anything about himself were he was from what krypton was, etc. After reliseing all of the powers he had he decided to part from his friends and family ing smallville after high school.
Superman decided to move to Metropolis a big city unlike smallville a small town with farms. There in his new city he was a reporter at the Daily Planet.

Yup that's right I'm the daughter of the man of steel....and I mostly take after my mom, so I'm utterly completely human. The worst part of being my father's daughter is I can't be a hero. His excuse is I don't have powers while there are heroes such as Green Arrow and Batman. An alien with no powers equals a worthless alien, and the entire justice league knows it to after all my father said so. At least I have my brothers who believe in me... I'm lying no one in my family thinks I can be a hero I'm just a dumb human to them. What's worse is even the bat family won't help me because they secretly agree, or at least that's what I think. So I did what any normal human would do when in an environment that doesn't believe in them I left. I applied for a 2-year foreign exchange program in France starting my high school year. #1 in supergirlxmalereader as of 4th May 2023 ------------------------------------------ (Part of the Y/N-Verse) Kara Zor-El, devastated by the destruction of Krypton, is still finding it hard to adjust to her new surroundings and of course: the burden of being her heroic-self: Supergirl as she fails to control her powers and causes accidental collateral damage in Metropolis, she also has trouble bonding with many Humans, especially the Dark Knight who claims her a threat. After Kara heard a few heart felt words from Clark Kent/Kal-El aka Superman, she travels years into the future with her cousin to meet new faces and an ascendant of Brainiac who are enrolled in an Academy of a heroic team called the Legion of Super-Heroes who are the "future's Justice League" according to Superman. He took her here to train at the Legion Academy since her cousin thought it'd be a good idea if she wanted it. But the Legion of Super-Heroes has issues of their own, a group called the Dark Circle are looking for a weapon and it's locked inside the Legion Academy Vault, the three Legionnaires in charge - Timber-Wolf, Chemical King and Shadow-Lass, didn't need a "Brainiac and Supergirl rivalry" problem in the mix.
