Growing up wasn't easy for Cara nor Kevin. They grew up together, From Birth all the way to High School. From a young age Kevin wanted to be a cop and he was a home bird who never really left Chicago. However Cara always pictured herself in the Army and wanted to see the world. Kevin and Cara went their separate ways, Kevin stayed in Chicago whilst Cara was shipped away with the army. 

Cara done a years deployment in France, where she met Scott. Scott was amazing, he treated her right and was loving towards her. Cara fell in love with him and after they're deployment moved back to Chicago. 

After moving back home Cara started to see a different side of Scott. He would blow off the handle at the smallest of things. Until one night, it was a night Cara will never forget. He snapped at her, beating her until she was black and blue. Cara let this happen over and over and over again. One night her finger hovered over Kevin's number before hitting dial...

If you don't do that, the job will eat you up and ruin you. But maybe that's why that select group of people live for that job so much. They're the ones that learned to love the pain.
