A dark fae novella spin of the Scent of an Angel series.

From on top of the silver hills, Rampart watched as the great tree of the Copper Groves clan burned. The latest casualty of the Fae silver war was one of the oldest and strongest holds the revolution had. Ever since the war began two years ago, the Erlking's guard had attempted many times to infiltrate the half breed sympathizers without success. But with one large push, their army had finally broken into the city. Rampart and the other rebels fought as hard as they could, but the horde of silver, featureless helmets couldn't be turned back. Eventually Ozil's call for retreat rang through the battlefield. The destruction of such an important city would be a devastating moral loss to the revolution. One that may turn the course of the war back into the guards favor.

"Who's out there?" One of the men yelled. Of course only silence met them. I remained quiet and waited for the group to start moving again. "Maybe it was just an animal." Someone whispered. The person, who I assumed was the captain of the small squad, signaled for them to walk again. They clearly showed fear as they kept going; brandishing their weapons to guard themselves with. "Two are holding lanterns. I'll tell you when you're too close to them." I heard my friend whisper in my ear. I followed the men as I picked up another branch and waited for the right time to break it. They continued to walk through the forest, turning their heads in every direction as if an animal might lunge at them and rip their throats out. I guess in a way I was going to do that. "Go back a few feet." My friend whispered. I carefully distanced myself from the group and waited. "Where is she?" I quickly snapped the stick as soon as he finished asking the question. They stopped and two soldiers raised their lanterns to shine its light in the darkness. I quickly hid behind a tree before both of them turned where I was. A low frustrated growl came from one of the men, "The girl's playing with us. She's out here following our every move." How paranoia can cloud the mind. At nine years old, Silver decided to leave her village for the forest. Since then, she's been hunted; everyday is a fight for her life, every breath she takes could be her last, but she's determined to stay alive. Her life isn't the kind anyone would want to live but she's managed to survive this long so, what's a few more years?

A soft whistle blew by crystal dawn, mismatched by the broken harmonies who sought and fought their way home..Carrying the biggest secrets and horrors the multiverse cannot comprehend. Deities called and Wars were waged, broken souls and haunting wisps of memories. Treacherous Deals and Sinister Forces toil, the dead of negative nights as the one who corrupted the soil lay half awake in their bodily state. Mismatched Colours bring about new pleasures and cautions, wings of bubble beauty and transparent crystal jewels cast aside by those who took deal leaving only a shelled remain of a former god. Corrupted and one forgotten and formed to be forced upon different Fates and Destinies, they finally find a way home...But the troubles toil and coil as the ones who hunt at the table during the night tail the sly and coy couple. Home at last, they're wings and identity unbound. But the soil of time remain rotten and cruel over the once bound ones, new eyes watch and old faces foil. ------------------------------ I do not own the Fgod multiverse, that belongs to Harrish6 rightfully! I only input my own Idea's and situations into the Fgod multiverse. I also do not own any of the character's used in this rewrite unless I say otherwise. All the original characters and their designs go to their respective owners, go pay the creators of these wonderful characters some much missed appreciation and love! Warnings for this book - * Violence * Suicide * Swearing * Ships * Trauma * Fluff * Self-Harm (Also sorry about the Cover, I was lazy and took down the better pictures because it would half spoil the character design which is again, undergoing changes.) Started....? Ended...? (Nah dude, This ain't ending till I say it's ending.)

This story is also being posted on RoyalRoad.com On the western shores of Kliskorios, a King sits without an heir. With his three children unwilling to allow each other to sit upon the throne, and a realm unable to decide the legal successor, the Kingdom of Teleytaios, strongest of the Heptarchy, stands on the brink of civil war, vultures circling all the while. King Cordan's bastard son has proven himself in battle and rulership both in the last half a decade, though the coming challenges will put to test even the greatest of his efforts. After all, to kill an enemy is one thing, but what about his own siblings? There is no man as accursed as the kinslayer, so the saying goes. The royal daughter, ever a staunch traditionalist and dangerous opponent, stacks the cards and the court in her favour whilst her brothers, bastard and trueborn both, waste away far from the capital. With the masses of dispossessed lords and ladies of the kingdom at her beck and call, there are few who find themselves outside of her reach. The King's trueborn son, widely regarded as being mad and violent, will act as the wildcard in the coming feud. Whoever he chooses to support will surely triumph, though perhaps there is more to the youngest prince than meets the eye? But there is more to the rising tensions than a simple succession crisis. Ancient things are waking up the world over; Brythonic sailors let slip the things they have glimpsed in the Ouroborisian Sea in Anarian taverns, and the whispers of gutter rats and holy men alike tell of a cult long thought dead hiding in plain sight. And then there are the findings of the King's own bastard son in the northern reaches of the kingdom. When these threads coincide, fate may find itself rewritten by mortal hands for the first time since time immemorial. In the northernmost kingdom of Elarion, where emerald forests stretch endlessly and magic pulses through the land, an ancient fae queen and her powerful siblings rule a realm bound by nature's forces. But outside their mystical borders, the human king Aldred of Menoria, driven by ambition and the hunger for magic, is watching. His heart is cold, his soldiers relentless, and his son, Prince Dorian, leads a campaign to claim the one thing that eludes their kingdom-control over Elarion's untamed power. When King Aldred's armies breach the sacred fae lands, an unthinkable war ignites-a conflict the fae call the War of Echoes. As human iron clashes with elemental magic, Queen Miradel of Elarion must rally her siblings, each wielding powers tied to the earth, wind, and beasts, to defend their ancient home. But the humans bring fire and steel, and at their head, Prince Dorian, a warrior as calculating as he is fierce. With the fate of their realms hanging by a thread, alliances will be tested, loyalties shattered, and both sides will learn that the echoes of war reach far beyond the battlefield. Magic, honor, and the survival of entire kingdoms collide in an epic battle for dominance-and in this war, even the victors will be haunted by the cost.
