Number 8 and Number 5 come from a very complex, and broken Family, if you can even call it a Family. Brought by one of the wealthiest men in the world due to the fact they were all born on the exact same date, exact same time, and the fact the women that birthed these children were not pregnant when the day began. As they grew older the children showed to be able to control these supernatural powers, hence the beginning of the Umbrella Academy.

Later down the track things get messy, with number 5 gone, the death of number 6 (Ben), the mystery of Number 8 floating above her bed, following up with the recent death of their father, how is it all going to fall back into place?
